UNDER CONSTRUCTION. satoru hosonaga is an honest and hard working detective, doing his best to ensure that his assignments are completed in a swift manner. when he fails, he will do his best to make up for it, as shown when he "put his life on the line" to allow naruhodo to investigate asogi's "death."

hosonaga is also determined to improve the police force and courts, doing this by stealing evidence from the crime scenes in order to avoid tampering. he easily gets excited at the idea of "improving the standards", and takes offense to insults towards the police force.

satoru has a lung disease, as can be seen by whenever he coughs, his mouth begins to dribble blood.
